Our Story Crafting Homes with Integrity
My name is James Dodge, and I’ve been swinging a hammer for over 23 years. In 2019, my two brothers and I started Dodge Brothers Construction with a simple goal: to build homes and additions the right way — with quality, honesty, and real accountability.

The name still carries the spirit we started with — brotherhood, trust, and doing things properly from the very beginning.

I’ve always believed that the best way to deliver a great project is to control the process. That’s why we still build the traditional way — from the ground up. We don’t hand off the entire job to multiple layers of subcontractors. By staying deeply involved in every phase, we keep projects on schedule, maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship, and make sure nothing gets missed. Our 9 full-time employees stay busy year-round because we plan and manage the work ourselves. When we need extra hands for larger projects, we only partner with trusted, high-quality subcontractors we’ve worked with for years.

Quality isn’t just a word we use — it’s how we build. We’re committed to industry best practices, especially when it comes to energy efficiency and building science. You’ll see us using Zip System sheathing, Rockwool insulation, and Type 2 smart vapor retarders to create tight, durable, high-performance homes that will stand strong for generations. We build for the long haul, not just for the next owner.

What I’m most proud of is the relationships we build right alongside the houses. Many of our clients have become good friends over the years. I answer my phone, I show up when I say I will, and I treat every project like it’s my own home. Fairness and transparency aren’t optional — they’re the foundation of how we do business.
